Poultry Division

Poultry Production division is a vertically integrated complex of enterprises with a complete cycle of production of poultry meat and poultry products, hen and quail eggs and products of their processing; production of compound feeding stuff, production and raising of young breeder. In order to conduct a single marketing policy distribution and wholesale of the ready production is held through the proprietary trading houses.

The range of products includes hen and quail eggs, meat of broiler chicken, semi-finished poultry products, sausage products, complete diet compound feeding stuff, flour and cereal.

The results of the year 2009 show that poultry enterprises of Rusgrain Holding OJSC produced:

• Broiler chicken meat – 27.5 thousand ton, live weight basis. Increase of production of 25% in comparison to the year 2008 is due to: increase of production facilities, reconsolidation of seating of the poultry, increase of weight gain and acquisition of Kumylzhenskaya Poultry Farm LLC in June 2008, which after reconstruction of poultry houses in 2009 produced 3 thousand ton of broiler chicken meat.
• Sausage products - 1.5 thousand ton.
• Hen eggs – 711.7 mln, Decrease of 8 mln eggs in comparison to the year 2008 is due to conversion of Ufimskaya Poultry Farm LLC from egg to broiler production.
• Breeding eggs – 21.1 mln. Due to coming into operation of the repaired buildings at Yubileynaya Breeding Poultry Farm and new Habbard cross increase of production of breeding eggs made 35% in comparison to the year 2008.
• Quail eggs - 10.95 mln. The volume of production of quail eggs increased by 1.5 times in comparison to the previous year.
In 2010 the poultry enterprises of the Holding plan to increase the volume of production:
• Chicken broiler meat to 32 thousand ton;
• Sausage products to 2.4 thousand ton, reaching monthly capacity of 300 ton by the end of 2010;
• Hen eggs for 4% or to 743.1 mln eggs;
• Quail eggs to 15 mln eggs;
• Breeding eggs to 22.1 mln eggs.

Ufa Complex of Cereal Products OJSC is the largest enterprise producing compound feeding stuff, flour and cereal in the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2009 the complex produced 175 thousand ton of compound feeding stuff. In 2010 the complex plans to produce 189 thousand ton compound feeding stuff, 35 thousand ton of flour, 3.6 ton of cereal.
The system of cooperation between the enterprises of the holding is based on vertical integration. Ufa Complex of Cereal Products OJSC prepares grain and supplementary feeds for production of complete diet compound feeding stuff, as well as flour and cereal. Compound feeding stuff is supplied to the seven poultry farms, three of them specialize in production of market eggs (Bashkirskaya Poultry Farm OJSC, Ashkadarskaya Poultry Farm LLC and Tuymazinskaya Poultry Farm OJSC, where in addition to hen eggs quail eggs and meat are produced for the first time in the Republic of Bashkortostan), the other three poultry farms specialize in boiler chickens (Turbaslinskie Broilers OJSC, Ufimskaya Poultry Farm LLC and Tuymazinskaya Poultry Farm OJSC), and multiplication poultry plant of the second range Yubileynaya Breeding Poultry Farm LLC specializes in production and distribution of hybrid breeding eggs of meat poultry. The production is distributed through Avdon trading house, which has its own wholesale (centers in the cities of the republic) and retail networks and sells the production to other regions of the Russian Federation. There are representative offices of the trading house in Moscow and Volgograd regions.
The enterprises of the group manufacture ecologically clean agricultural products of high quality. The production is certified by ISO and HASSP standards. At the present time the enterprises are equipped with modern production equipment, egg and meat processing is developing rapidly. Intensive development allowed to create one of the largest poultry producing holdings in Russia: increase of poultry meat output – by 3 times; sausage products output – by 8.6 times; hen eggs output – by 1.1; quail eggs output – by 3.6; breeding eggs output – by 3; grain products output – by 1.3.
Production of eggs with improved consumer properties is developing rapidly, due to application of compound feeding stuff with increased concentration of vitamins and microelements the products contain more vitally important elements that are not synthetic but amino acid-bound.

Quail eggs also enjoy great and stable demand among customers. They have antibacterial, immunomodulatory and antineoplastic properties, contain a lot of microelements and vitamins, contribute to withdrawal of radio nuclides from the body.

Broiler chicken meat and “soup” hens have recently become popular among the people due to optimal balance of price and quality, as they are the most available source of proteins and carbohydrates ideally balanced in composition. One of the important reorganizations at the poultry farms is introduction of production of poultry meat and ready products according to “Halal” Muslim requirements.

Raising of chickens, their slaughter, deep processing of broiler meat are held according to strict requirements of the Muslim traditions, which are not only a ritual but an ancient technology. Application of these traditions makes the meat a clean product of high quality, delicate flavor and good look. Acquired thermal chambers for production of smoked sausage products, refrigerating chambers, packing equipment for semi-finished products allowed to develop the range of production significantly. Ufimskaya Poultry Farm LLC and Turbaslinskie Broilers OJSC produce a wide range of semi-finished products of cooled meat: shashlik, cutlets, meatballs, carcass for grill, fried chicken, drumsticks, breasts, filet, soup packs etc.

The range of sausage and smoked products includes more than 50 items: rolls, hams, sausages, sausage rolls, wieners produced by Turbaslinskie Broilers OJSC, the largest meat poultry farm in Bashkortostan, are made according to traditional classic recipes from cooled meet of broiler chicken with addition of natural spices. They have refined delicate flavor and low fat content. Ufa Complex of Cereal Products OJSC produces and supplies to the market production under Domovito trademark: wheat flour, semolina and buckwheat cereal, pollard. Moreover, the complex offers complete diet compound feeding stuff and protein vitamin mineral feeds that help to increase productivity of agricultural animals, poultry and fish. The geography of the customer base of the holding is wide: these are a lot of republics, regions and territories of the Russian Federation – from Kaliningrad to Krasnoyarsk. Avdon TH LLC supplies the products to all neighboring regions, to Southern and Central parts of Russia, to Tadzhikistan and Uzbekistan. At the present time the trading house has a wide network of wholesale centers in Ufa, Salavat, Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk, Beloretsk, Oktyabrskiy, Tuymazy cities and a network of 33 proprietary retail outlets. The enterprise works with a lot of large networks of both regional and national scale. Integration of Poultry Production division with other divisions of the Holding enabled extra synergy. Centralization of supply of grain and non-grain raw materials increases the efficiency of purchasing raw materials due to the developed regional supply structure of the Holding.
