JSC Russian Grain was founded in May, 2002 as a small trading company specializing on the domestic grain market in Russia.
Today Russian Grain forms a part of Rusgrain Holding along with a range of other agricultural enterprises.   
Since 2004, the company has adopted a redevelopment strategy for the creation of a major agroindustrial holding with the purpose of acquiring agricultural assets and enlarging its land bank through rental agreements and purchases of high quality arable land.

As a result of the efforts of Russian Grain’s team of professional and forward looking managers, the company has emerged as one of Russia’s largest agroindustrial holdings, conducting operations involving the full cycle of agricultural production, including cultivation, processing, storage and trade.

The Russian Grain team consists of professionals with experience gained in the largest agroindustrial companies of Russia.

 

Organizational structure of the management company

 

Responsibilities

  • Financial and corporate finance departments are responsible for strategic and financial management
  • Heads of Business Divisions are responsible for operational and strategic management of its divisions
  • Supply department organizes centralized procurement for the group companies which allows to reduce procurement costs and improve inventory management

Matrix organizational structure

  • RGH applies matrix organizational structure that allows heads of departments to work out methodology and control over relevant subordinate departments under company level
